Ohio Marital Separation Agreement Template

This Marital Separation Agreement ("Agreement") is designed to assist parties residing in the State of Ohio in documenting the terms of their separation. It is intended to address matters pertaining to division of property, debts, child custody, and support, as applicable. The terms contained herein aim to comply with the requirements set forth by Ohio state laws, including but not limited to the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) relevant to marital separation and divorce.

THIS AGREEMENT, made this ___ day of __________, 20__, by and between ______________________ (hereinafter "Spouse 1") and ______________________ (hereinafter "Spouse 2"), both of whom reside in the State of Ohio.

WHEREAS, Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 were lawfully married on the ___ day of __________, 20__, in _______________________, Ohio; and

WHEREAS, due to certain irreconcilable differences and pursuant to their mutual desire, Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 have agreed to live separately and apart, intend to separate their financial and familial affairs and wish to document the terms of their separation and mutual covenants in this Agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 agree as follows:
